Kitchen Design & Build

We design and build kitchens from layout through installation. Our San Marcos Design Center lets you see cabinetry, countertops and tile in person, and our team helps you choose materials that suit how you actually cook and live.

Why homeowners remodel their kitchen

  • The layout no longer works for the household, often because the family has grown or changed.
  • The kitchen is dated and worn, and it is no longer a room you enjoy using or hosting in.
  • Storage, counter space or appliances do not fit how you cook.

Design package

Designing a kitchen on your own is a lot to take on. Our optional design package pairs you with a designer who walks you through layout, cabinetry, countertops and finishes at the Design Center. We also build kitchens for customers who arrive with their own design.

Many customers come in having read conflicting advice online. A designer can explain the real differences between materials, such as natural stone and quartz, before you commit.

Choosing countertops you can live with

Natural stone looks exceptional, but it is porous. Oil and grease that are not wiped up promptly can soak in and leave stains, especially around a cooktop, and most manufacturers require sealing every year. If you cook often, that matters.

Newer engineered surfaces resist heat and stains and clean up with a simple wipe. We show you both side by side so you can decide based on how you use your kitchen, not only how it looks on day one.

Common questions

Do I need to buy the design package?
No. It is optional. Customers who already have a design can go straight to a proposal.
Can I see materials before I choose?
Yes. Cabinetry, countertops, tile and flooring are on display at our San Marcos Design Center.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost?
It depends on the size, layout changes and materials. Online estimates for California are usually low. After a free on-site visit we give you a written proposal for the complete job.
